If you're in Glasgow next Thursday evening (23rd), I'd like to invite you to stop by the South Central KY Cultural Center (200 Water Street) for the meeting of the SCKY Historical & Genealogical Society meeting. The meeting begins at 7, no charge for attendance and free parking. I am going to be speaking at this meeting on "Its All About YOU". It's really the first time in 21 years as a member and as retiring program chair that I've put on a program and I hope it will be an enjoyable one. Sort of historical, sort of genealogical; I'll be taking a look at recording your story, it's all about you. I'll be discussing why we should record our lives, ways we can record and providing a list of some of the things you can include on your story. In future years, your family will be grateful you did your family tree, but wouldn't it be a lot nicer if they also could read about you and learn how we lived?
