Photo Glasgow - Sherry Dale Little Guilfoil, 72, of Glasgow, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Glasgow. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Dr. Bobby A. Guilfoil and her children, Kelly Knight (Judson) of Lexington, Marc A. Guilfoil (Katherine) of Lexington and Micah G. Guilfoil (John Ridgill) of Louisville. She is survived by her grandchildren, Mia Moross of Lexington, Jane Brady Knight of Lexington, John Austin Guilfoil of Lexington and Lily Guilfoil on Lexington. She also is survived by Troy C. Venables (Giovanna) of Danville, whom she considered an adopted son. She is survived by her identical twin sister Gale McConnell (Robert) of Alexandria, VA., and sister Patsy Medlin (Phil) of Marietta, Ga. She was a 1962 graduate of Auburn University, where she obtained her B. S. in Home Economics and was a proud member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She met her beloved husband Bobby while he was a student at the School of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. They happily settled in Glasgow in 1964 where she became a very active member of the community, serving the Democratic Party, the First Christian Church and numerous civic activities and causes throughout her life in Glasgow. She taught History and Home Economics at Glasgow High School, was a wonderful homemaker and mother and avid golfer. As her children write this, they realize that she was so much more than mere words on paper can express. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Little (Hazel) of Hokes Bluff, Alabama. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. First Christian Church of Glasgow, KY on Friday, May 27, 2011, with visitation at the chruch starting at 9:30 a.m. A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
