Mammoth Cave - Mary Anne Brooks, 64, of Mammoth Cave, died Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Mammoth Cave. The Barren County native was the daughter of the late Edwin Paul Owen and Thelma G. Grizzle Owen. SHe was a beautician and owner of Ann's Beauty Shop and was a member of Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kelly T. Brooks and a brother Ellywn Owen. Survivors include her husband, Tommy D. Brooks of Mammoth Cave; one daughter, Marianna White (Jimmy) of Bowling Green; a grandson, Mason White of Bowling Green; a brother, Gene Owen of Glasgow; and one niece Kimberly Landrum (Bobby) of Glasgow. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Hill Grove Church Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday at the church.
