CAVE CITY - Michael Gary Hurt [photo], 55, of Cave City, died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He is the son of the late Roy Washington Hurt and Verna Mildred Harper Hurt. He was a member of the Light House Church in Horse Cave. He is survived by his wife: Betty J. Hurt, one son: Michael D. Hurt and his wife Leslie; one daughter: Lori Mosier and her husband Eddie; two brothers: Tim Hurt and Daryl Hurt; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Light House Church in Horse Cave with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
