GLASGOW - Rachel Loretta Ramsey Baise [photo], 68, of Glasgow, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. A native of Barren County, she was a daughter of the late Herman S. and Mary Erlene Smith Ramsey. She was a former clerk at Watson's Dept. Store, a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, Joe Baise; one son, Dean Allen Baise; one brother, Yandell Ramsey and wife, Mary Lou, of Park City; nephews, Tearle Ramsey (Kay) of Glasgow and Jayme Ramsey of Louisville; nieces, Tamara Spence of Glasgow, Alisa Scott (Mike) of Cape Girardeau, MO, Carmen Gentile (Jesse) of Bowling Green, and Tamara Spence (Jim) of Glasgow; several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Ramsey and Roy Ramsey, and by one sister, Anna Grace Polson. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
