    3. I went ahead and made my posts this morning and then will likely be off-line most of the day. I've over-done, of course, and am trying to get a few more minutes rest this morning. I just talked to the nurses station; the doctors have not been in yet. Mom is pending transfer back to the nursing home today, with Hospice care there. She was more responsive yesterday in opening her eyes, but the doctor said this is because they have taken her off the IV which contained Heparin (blood clot preventative) which can depress the system. They are still not giving her any chance of survival. She is receiving nothing but pain medication as needed but they had to discontinue the IV due to fluid build-up in the tissues. I want to post occasionally; gets my mind off things for a few minutes. I've asked Charlie to post a note (which he did) that for a while, I'll not be doing puzzlers. 1. [KYBARREN] UPDATE SATURDAY AM
    2. Sandi Gorin
    3. Just a short note this morning. I saw Mom for only a few minutes as they were taking her for another CAT scan - results not back likely until Monday. There was no change overnight. She is totally unaware of anything now, responds to no one and never opens her eyes. The doctor yesterday told me that he didn't expect her to live more than a few days. I just told her how much we loved her and that her Lord was there with her. She looks very peaceful and is a deep sleep, but not a coma. I am doing some posting this morning to keep my mind occupied and resting when I can before the next round of storms come through. We flooded for awhile last night with our roads closed off yet again. Thank you again for all your care and concern. It is comforting, believe me!
