Does anyone know the exact location of Williams Stand, an inn or tavern , owned by Samuel Williams in the 1850's of so. Also, does anyone know, or care, about the Samuel Williams family who moved to Anderson County from Garrard County about 1840? Samuel was b. 1790, VA, the son of Elijah Williams and (?). They were originally from Fauquier County, VA. Samuel's wife was Cynthia (Syntha) McFadden, daughter of James and Martha Graham McFadden. Both James McFadden and Elijah Williams were in the Rev. War.
