Just subscribed and want to say 'hello' to everyone. I'm researching the David Layton family. By tradition my grgrandfather was born in 'Rough & Ready' (renamed Alton) just outside of Lawrenceburg about 1844 and was the fourth of seven children of David Layton and Melinda (GALAWAY?).
