Thanks Brenda << James Milton Stewart known as Squire Stewart was born around Jefferson County and he married a Lucinda Mahorney or Mahoney know as Lucy from around Nelson County. Lucinda's mother was a woman named Jane. James or Squire and Lucinda lived in Bullit County from I know 1850-1870 with their children: James William, Richard Amos, Joseph, Mary Francis, and America Murphy Stewart. They moved to Ohio County Kentucky around 1870 and Mary Francis married a Jesse Whittaker. James William my great-grandfather married a Fannie Patton. The others I am unsure about. I have not found James Milton or Lucinda Stewart's date of death or where they died. I know James Milton Stewart was living with his son Richard Amos Stewart and family in the 1880 Census, so I figured Lucinda must have died between 1860=1870. I have nothing but Census on these people. >>
