Announcement: Harrodsburg Herald obituaries for 1896-1947 are now available on CD-ROM from the Heritage Center in Harrodsburg. The obits are contained on eight disks (designated as volumes 2-9) and are priced at $29.95 each -- postpaid, but Kentucky residents add $1.30 sales tax per disk ordered. Each individual CD contains about 300 pages of print and is complete for the years it covers. Work is also in progress on additional disks for the years before 1896 and after 1947. As most are aware who have done genealogical researh in central Kentucky. the Harrodsburg Herald's coverage of Mercer County is complete , and much of its coverage extends also to neighboring counties such as Anderson, Washington, and Boyle.
