You will note that although the 1890 federal census was destroyed , that Kentucky did a state census in 1891. Maybe not all hope is lost. The following is a list of all state census years for Kentucky. 1792/1798/1799/1803/1807/1811/1815/1819/1823/1827/1831/1835/1839/1843/1847/ 185 1/1859/1867/1875/1883/1891/1899 Kentucky by and far performed more state censuses than any other state.
