Yes I now also think the Ann MILTON who married "Priestly" DAVIS in May 1819* is the same as the Nancy MILTON who married Presley Davis that same month** (the different days because first date was the marriage bond and the second the record of the ceremony). No place is given but they apparently settled in Shelby County by 1821 when their son Taliaferro Milton DAVIS (who later moved to Missouri) was born. Ann/Nancy was the daughter of John Milton and Ann Stribling of Frederick Co. VA, whose lineage has been published *** but I would like to have Presley's.
