I only know very little that I have from other family members,, however my gr grandfathers' name was Francis Marion Bird. From what I am told, they were from Viirginia,and Carolinas. You might want to check the Kentucky -Maryland link where a lot of Catholic families came down together from Maryland,,I am not sure.
