I do not belong to the Murphys of Anderson County. My Murphys came from Hardin, Nelson and Larue County areas. I live in Shelbyville and have been trying to put together pieces of the Spencer/Anderson Murphys in hopes of somewhere connecting the two Murphy clans. I'd like to be able to add the Anderson Murphys to my tree. I think I can do that through your Charles Burgin that married Lillie Burton Nation. I have Nations in my tree through a cousin of mine. Could you tell me more about your more recent family history so that I can add the Anderson Murphys to my tree? I'd rather work from one tree than have several different ones for the different families. Somehow in all this I think we may be able to learn more about all the families.
