I'm still wondering if this Terral L. and the Tilman L. are one in the same. I'm thinking the census takers just have the name incorrect. I can't get past the fact that Alice Parmer was living with this Tilman Lefler and listed as granddaughter. This Tilman has an Illinois connection and I'm thinking that may have something to do with not finding him on Kentucky census records. I would like to know if they're the same person. If not, I'd really like to know both their relationships to Brice Elkins Murphy. Could this Terral L. be Terrel Lefler vs. Terrel Leonard? Lefler could indicate a mother's maiden name. The Lefler surname is a name of this area is it not? I stopped in at the Shelby County Courthouse annex yesterday and could not find a marriage between Brice E. Murphy and Mary Jane Corbin...so now I'm at a loss as to where they might have married. Would they have married in Spencer or Jefferson? Oddly, I did find a marriage record between a Brice Murphy and a Martha Alice Starr, dau of Samuel Starr, on 6th Aug 1880. Anybody have any idea which Brice this is? or who this Martha Alice Starr is? Marsha, is this your Brice by chance? This Brice was born in Anderson County and was 28 at time of marriage. She was 21 and it was both first marriages. Just more stuff to keep me confused here....hehe...... Donnie
