I found some info on the Petty Burial Grounds in "Miscellaneous records from Anderson County, Kentucky" but some of the dates don't match the info from Petty Cemetery. Apparently the Petty Burial Grounds is the old Petty farm. Later the headstone were moved over to the Petty Cemetery, both near Anderson City. My problem is: Mary (Shouse) Petty, one has b.18 Dec 1817 other b.13 Dec 1817, d.19 May 1861 other d.19 May 1864 Samuel B. Petty, one has d.30 Oct 1854 the other d.30 Oct 1851 If anyone can help me strain this out it would be appreciated.
