My wife is connected to the Samuel Murphy family through Sara F. Murphy who married to Nathan Bruner. She was born in 1852 and died in 1929 in Spencer County Kentucky. My wife is also connected to the (W)Hortenbury family through Redmon, who was a brother to Fielding or Felix and my wife Greatgrandfather. Their father was a Robert Hortenbury. I am also interested in finding out who Nicholas Sutts father was? I have Andrew, Christopher and a John Sutt to pick from. I believe that it may be Andrew Sutt. My wife has a distant connection to a Enoch Reynolds that married a Rosey Sutt and went to the Knox County Indiana area. Andrew and Christopher went there as did Enoch Reynolds and also a Caleb Clark, who also married a Elizabeth Sutt. A lady has been trying to connect Nicholas Sutt to a family and I believe that she is talking about this family. Andrew, John, Christopher, Elizabeth and Rosey Sutt were children of a Christopher Sutt that died in 1826 in Spencer County Kentucky. I believe that Enoch Reynolds was the son of a Richard Reynolds. She is connected to another son named Albert Reynolds that married to a Mary Catherine Snider. Now getting back to Samuel Murphy, Do you know who Samuel's parents? I know who Lucinda House parents are, but have misplaced this information, at this time. It seems to me that he is a Simeon House. Hope that you get this and maybe we can compare notes.
