Pattie, Dr. John Fleming Rodgers, or Sarah Isabel Williams, also possibly known as Sallie Belle. Margaret was Dr. rodgers first wife, being married in 1853. They were together on the 1860 and 1870 cencus. Sarah Isabel "Belle" Williams was his second wife. I am not sure when they married, but she was with him on the 1880 cencus. I am especially looking for any info about Dr. John Fleming Rodgers, who his parents were, or who his line of Rodgers were. Dr.Rodgers and "Belle" Williams were my great grandparents. Dr. Rodgers was born in Bourbon co., Ky in 1830 and died in his home in Clifton, Woodford Co., Ky in 1902. His wife "Belle" remarried a Mr. Glass. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Take care, David Middleton Edelen II

John b. 1858 and Mary in 1865. I have a poor copy of an article that appeared in the Herald-Leader on 2 November 1978, which includes a photo of John D. GREEN. The article indicates the source of the information was John GREEN's nephew "Willie Mary Clark". I can't place Mr. Clark, but I'd like to have a good copy of the photo, or any other information on the families you may have. I'm always willing to share what I have.
There is an Anderson Co. library in Lawrenceburg. Shelby Williams (female) lives there and does research. Her e-mail: ShelbyW534@dcr.net What families are you concerned with? Bob Moore
Two years ago Ms.Williams did some research for me and I can vouch for her. Byron Marshall Patboblex@aol.com wrote: > > There is an Anderson Co. library in Lawrenceburg. I need some information from Anderson County and I don't see a Library listed on the genweb site for Anderson Co., KY. No Genealogical Society. I know the courthouse doesn't have the staff to look up records for us as have tried that before. Any suggestions from out there? I live in Wyoming so am unable to do this myself. I would really appreciate some ideas. Thanks, Janis _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. It is leaning against a tree in a forest in a remote section of the county. The bark of the tree immediately above the stone is scraped indicating that it has been there for some time. A nearby resident said that he knew it had been there for fifteen years. Email me at tineanddale@EV1.NET if you know of this person.

I have only references to George Rogers Clark . the mention that he lived with them came from the Woods McAfee papers , but in the Robert B. McAfee Papers it states that Nancy Agnes's father was a close relative of George Rogers Clark. Very interesting about the gravesites of James & Agnes. I have never visited them , but have been to New Providence many times . I understand they are not too far away , near the R.R. tracks. Hope you took pictures. I am also a decendant of James & Agnes. Their daughter, Elizabeth married William Davenport. Always interested in contact on geneology , and have lots of questions. How are you connected???? I have nearly 65 pages of nothing but decendants on this family. How did you find me???? How much do you know about this line???? look forward to hearing from you again. LAD

Our best find consisted of the grave markers of James McAfee and his wife Nancy Agnes Clark McAfee--our great, great, great, great, great grandfather and grandmother. It is my understanding that Luther Davenport of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, might have some information consisting of George Rogers Clark living for a while with James and his wife in McAfee, Kentucky. Any information would be of interest.
