    1. [KYANDERS-L] JoAnne Gattrell Ernst
    2. Dear Birchell, I want to thank you for sending the obitury for JoAnne. I am sorry for my delay in doing so. I was shocked and saddened to see it come up on my screen. I had never met JoAnne but talked with her by phone. I had intended to go visit her when she was here in Louisville but procrastinated. I think there is a lesson here. She was very kind and helpful to me. I regret that now I will never get to meet her. Again, I thank you. 1. [KYANDERS-L] Jesse Moore Descendants
    2. My great-uncle, Jesse Moore, born 15 Nov 1859, in Madison Co. He was the son of Jarrott Moore and Susan Jane Logsdon Moore. He died in Anderson Co. Ky. 30 Jul 1915. Jesse was a railroad brakeman. I don't know who or when he married. I know he had a son, J. W. Moore, who died 25 Jun 1915, at the age of 26. He was single. The death certificate says that his mother was Julia Robertson, whom I presume was Jesse's wife. I don't know if there were any other siblings or any descendants. The information for Jesse Moore's death certificate was furnished by his sister Margaret Bell Cryer, the wife of Spencer Cryer of Alton, Ky. Would like to find out more about both the Moore and Cryer families. Thanks in advance, Bill B.

    2. Sam Silvey
    3. Information that I have states that tax lists for Anderson Co. do not exist for years 1838 - 1880. My understanding is that duplicate copies of tax lists were to be sent to the state. If this is the case could the state be holding copies of tax lists that the county no longer has? Appreciate some discussion or help on this. Sincerely, Sam Silvey

It was last read in 1965 and was described then as being located on Tom Champion's farm on the Kirkwood and Ballard Road (northwest Mercer County). The 1965 listing didn't show any Riley graves, but it might not have been a complete listing either.
