Sharon, Regarding MATILDA TABOR, (1826-1896), you're saying she died literally, one month after her marriage date to ISAAC TABOR? Do you know what she died of? That seems strange to die so quickly after her marriage. Below are the men I show were married to MATILDA TABOR. THOMAS CONNER........Dec. 8, 1840........Thomas Conner died in 1854. WILLIAM W. OLIVER.....May 5, 1856........William Oliver died in 1868. JOSEPH SMITH............Nov. 9, 1869......I Don't have a death date for Joseph. ISAAC TABOR............June 10, 1896......Don't have Isaac's death date either! JAMES TABOR, (1745-1855), and EDY RUSSELL, (date unknown), may have been married in VIRGINIA, and not North Carolina where you say you have not found marriage records for RUSSELS / TABORS. Keeping in mind the "date", and formation of counties such as North Carolina/Virginia, or boundary changes.....it's possible they were married in Person Co., or Halifax, (for example)..... to me, the name of, "EDY", sounds like a nickname for the name, "EDITH". You lost me when you wrote, "Isaac married Jane Segraves, sister to his uncle George's wife Caroline".....???? (and) " Isaac was son of James Tabor, son of Isaac & Louisa, and Elizabeth daughter of George W. & Caroline Segraves Tabor - James and George being 1/2 brothers. Isaac married 2nd to Matilda Tabor, another daughter of George W. & Caroline Segraves Tabor. Isaac married 3rd to Georgia Shields.".....????? Thanks for unraveling all the TABOR'S.
