Hello Jim, Good to hear from you.... Possibly, Mildred Jent had no knowledge about Margary Goodrum, b. 1828, whom you say was the missing Goodrum daughter, not listed in her research. I can understand the disappointment but have no answers on what to do. Other than to send a post out to some of those websites that carry the Goodrum Papers, to give that new data for other researchers to have, I can't think of anything else to be done. Maybe the List Administrator or Website coordinator would have a good suggestion. Probably misplaced in the shuffle.They did send me a thank you note but it was never added. It was the missing daughter, Margary Goodrum B. 1828, daughter of James G. and Elizabeth Harman Goodrum. My gr.grandfather, John Owen/s brother Allen Owen/s B. 1824 married Margary on Feb.3, 1851 in Warren County. They had the following children, John, Martha, C.L. Joseph, Willis and Henry David. Allen died in 1899 and Margary in 1908 and both are buried in Old Drake Church Cemetery at Drakes Rd and and Boyce Rd. They do have a large marker. The Owen/s brothers were the sons of Obadiah and Martha Rickman Owen who moved to Allen County from Halifax Co. Va. about 1820 and lived on what is now Cemetery Rd in Allen County. Beside John and Allen they had Abraham, Thomas, William, Coleman and Pharrow (Farro). Hope someone can use a little of something of this message and thanks for posting Mrs. Jent's death.
