After all these years, I got the idea to put one of my Allen county surnames into the USGS website and ask for a search in Kentucky. Bingo, there is a Wagoner Hollow in Allen county. If this is indeed the land that my Peter Waggoner owned, then it really makes sense why some of his children married in Sumner county, Tennessee. One of the maps linked to USGS showed that the Hallow was 493 feet from 8275 Gallatin Road; 1527 feet south from 432 Carter Church Road, and 1593 feet north from O'Neal Road. Some O'Neals married into my Wagoner line. >From the satellite map I didn't see any buildings, but is anybody familiar with the area? I also didn't realize how close Macon county was until I printed off some of the maps. One of the maps also listed cemeteries; wouldn't it be exciting to find where Peter is buried? If you haven't done this before, I would definitely recommend doing so. I'm really excited about this information because it gives me leads to questions that I've just accepted they'll never be resolved. Pam Wagoner Oregon
