Martha, I went to the Carpenter DNA site and it looks like my Carpenters are in group 6 the Virginia/Ohio Carpenters. Thomas, b England came to VA in 1760. So, no I don't think I am related to the Zimmerman Carpenters. -- Larry Ruff
