Sharon, In one of our communications,you made mention of Mount Union general baptist church cemeteries.  I had a relative interred in the oldest of these cemeteries about 1931.  She has no grave marker.  I wondered if the church has any record of burials including names and dates and also of location.     2. The only cemeteries that I know of that have a burial list are city cemeteries. Baptist churches are not known for their record keeping of deaths, births?or marriages.? What little information recorded depended on the person serving as secretrary at the time. I've never seen a baptist church with a cemtery plat book.? If you have access to the death certificate and it gives the undertakers name, the funeral home records may or may not indicate the location in a cemetery.
