David Harris was born between 1760-1769 in Loudoun County, Virginia. They later moved to Bedford County, Virginia and then to Allen County, Kentucky (formed from Warren) where David left his will in Allen County and it was probated 12 Dec 1842. He left children : (1) Amos Harris born 1791 in Va. He died 23 Mar 1863 In Allen Co., Ky. He married Nancy McReynolds. (2) Martha Harris born 1794 in Va. She married Nathan Kinsey Pope. (3) Joel Hardy Harris born 1806 in Va. He died Dec 1853 in Allen Co., ky. He married Sarah Ogles. This couple are my 3rd great grandparents. (4) Elizabeth Harris born 1807 in Va. She died before 1835. She married John Wesley Lysles. (5) Solomon Henry Harris born 1808 and diied 22 Aug 1887 in Allen Co., Ky.
