Since we are on the Taylor Family subject, can anyone identify the parentage of a Charles Taylor, D: 1799, married to Mary (Lewis) Taylor and, their daughter Frances (Fanny) Taylor who married Samuel P. Sublett, in Campbell Co., Va.. The bondsman for Frances' was William Taylor and Joseph Akin, and married 1799. I have chased this ghost for years with NO success. The Taylor family was all over the place at the time and am sure that they migrated to Warren/Allen co.
