If anyone would be so kind to see if they have the following birth records. I have not been able to get my grandmother or grandfather's birth records. They are: John S. Hide and Emily Jane (Janey) Thomas. both born in the mid 1800's - and my father, Benjamin Harrison Hide (his twin - Henry Garfield Hide) born September 2, 1888. I would so appreciate this information and I am willing to pay for your time. Our Hide name was changed to Hite around 1900 due to census takers and my grandfather unable to read or write. Ogles married Mary Jane Oxford as Mildred has said. They have a child mamed L.F. Ogles. As you follow the Oxford line it goes to Mary Jane's parents as Daniel Oxford and Mary Dinwiddie. They have a daughter Martha Oxford born 12 Aug 1783 died 30 Dec 1853... Martha married Richard Wilkins DERINGTON born 20 May 1794 Ky died 6 Aug 1865 in Henderson, Rusk Co., TX. I don't know if this could be the same Derrington family my Sarah Ogles whose brother John Ogles who married Louisa Derington in 1825 or not. But it is something to consider.
