Marianne, I have somewhere in my stuff a Frances Langston who I believe was the mother of Langston Williams, who was the father of George Williams, who was the father of my gr. grandfather, Langston Williams. Have you researched any of this ? I started researching and became involved in genealogy in 1982..... doing it the old way before internet. I can send you a report from my FTM if you want... this goes back to Raglan Castle.... Sandy, google and type in Raglan Castle and this is ours... biuilt in the 1430's by our grandpa Sir Willam ap Thomas. He has three sons and each is a grandfather because of the way they intermarried.. LOL ! The Raglands have written two large volumes on our line by making trips to England and Wales.They were in Glamorganshire and Monmothshire, Wales, moved to Somerset Co., England to New Kent Co., Va. I had to go back to my Family Tree Maker and it was the 1880 Warren County census. Their daughter who is my next grandmother is Sarah Francis "Fannie" Harris that married Robert Lewis in Warren County 4 July 1875 at Bowling Green. Her father J.W. Harris was surety. They later moved to Illinois where I live. I never knew if her parents came with them to Illinois are if they died in Warren County. This is why I have been looking for death dates.
