Unfortunately, without a subscription to the Daily News, 7 days archived is all anyone can read the online version of the paper. I found a letter to the editor doing an Archives search, but not the article The combination of land development and people who have no interest in ancestral search makes this a prevalent issue nation wide. Thank goodness for people who are interested enough to track down family plots on private land and inventory the information. Unfortunately, there is an old graveyard on my uncle's land in Allen Co which he allowed hogs and cattle to demolish the fencing and stones, and no one in the family who lives locally has been interested in recovering the plot - and I live too far away. Fortunately, the headstones were inventoried and recorded by Martha Jackson before the damage was too extreme. Thank you for your interest and information.
