Sally of your message fits into the Nicholas Co., KY ROYSE family rather than the Adair Co., KY one. There was a Solomon ROYSE of Nicholas Co., KY who md. Sally JOHNSON. This Solomon was b. ca. 1797 in Nicholas Co., KY, the son of Hiram ROYSE and his wf. Tacitus (maiden nm. unknown)----Hiram being the twin brother of the Solomon ROYSE, Sr. of Adair Co., KY. I have the same listing of children for the Solomon ROYSE of Nicholas Co., KY as you do and have more on that ROYSE line back from Hiram and Solomon. I haven't done the research on it myself and was given no references for this lineage, so cannot vouch for it. The Solomon W. ROYSE, b. ca. 1804 in Adair Co., KY, was the s.o. Solomon ROYSE and his wife Sally STOTTS, is said (I haven't proven this) to have md. Nancy JANES and they had no children....but I cannot vouch for this information.
