I have 7 George Hardwick's listed in my database, but none born in IL. Some of the Hardwick's did move to Carroll County Missouri in the 1830's and 1850's. Maybe they lived by relatives when your Dan was born. Both Hardwick and Reynolds are Adair county names. Janice
