KY Mary B., 54, hk [housekeeping], Virginia Amanda M., 20, hk, Adair Emily P., 18, hk, Adair Sherrod H., 16, farming, Adair Cornelia K., 14, Adair Martha, 12, Adair Franklin P., 7, Adair The 1850 census (as compiled by Mrs. Randy Flowers & Michael Watson, 1986) gives the ages & genders of the initial-only children as follows: V., 12, male A., 10, female [?Amanda] E., 8, female [?Emily] S., 6, male [?Sherrod] C., 4, female [?Cornelia] M., female, nine months [?Martha] In the limited sources at hand, I can find no other references to a 'V.'
