For instance, I don't know who their children were in some instances. William J. Brown, born May 26, 1829 in Adair County, Kentucky. Married Frances McFall ion Oct. 23, 1856 in Adair County. William J. Brown died March 27, 1913 in Russell County, Ky. I believe William J. Brown's father was Stephen Brown who was born in 1794 in Virginia. He was married May 30, 1822 in Adair County, Ky. to Martha Hall. Because of the location, I believe Stephen Brown's father to be Christsopher Brown. But, this is just an assumption. Christopher Brown was born in 1762 in North Carolina. He lived for many years in Adair County, starting in about 1800 and I found him in the census in 1860. At least I believe him to be the same man. I believe Martha Hall's father was John Hall and her mother was C. Weatherspoon. John Hall's father was William Hall and his mother was Susannah McMarty. I believe all of these people were residents of Adair County. If anyone has information on the above mentioned people, I would really appreciate sharing it along with whatever else I may have to offer. Thanks, Betty Acord
