He was the son of James Edward Chockley and Mary Jane Mullins.He married Martha Ann Chockley also known as Mattie on May 1, 1887 in Rushville, Illinois. They had two children, Paris Essa Chockley and Katie Mae Chockley. Katie Mae married Ralph Engle 12 August, 1912. This was my mother's mother and father. LLoyd E. "Gene" Horner
