Brenda, This note is in reference to your Venaas surname. There is nearly nothing on ancestry.com regarding this surname. I am a descendant of Iver & Margo Venaas, born in 1856 and 1859, respectively. Their children were: Mary, William, Lena, Melvin, Julian, Emma, Ned, Rose, Inga, Oscar, and Bennett (my paternal grandfather). They were all born in either Minnesota or North Dakota.
