Aug. 19 1832 married Mary Ann Bradshaw Dec.14,1854 b. Aug 8, 1830 She died 1909 they are buried in the Grant Cemetery in Adair County,Ky Samuel was the son of John W Grant and Mary Ann Spears (there is a picture of them in the Adair County photos) John W.Grant b. 1809 was the son of Michael Grantb. 1761 Va. and Jane Gill Children of Samuel and Mary Ann are ; 1. Nathaniel Cuthwell b.16 Mar.1861d. 22Dec.1902 m. Laura S. Willisb. 22Feb.1867 d.20Aug 1943 they are in Grant Cemetery Adair Co.,Ky 2. John "Jack" Milton Grant b.1857 married (1) Lettice Ann Antle M.(2) Sally Jane Turner 3.Arther B. Grant b. 1859 m. Clara Lee Melson 4. Fanny Grant b. 1863 5. Joe Sam Grant b. 1863 m. Millie Ann last name unknown 6 Mike Grant m. 4 times ? 7. Ulysses S. Grant b. 1870 m 1st.
