Ky. last October. And while looking at the 1880 census, I found Samuel Grant & Catherine listed with 3 of their Children, Victoria age 09 Minnie age 01 Mertie age 01 Samuel was my GGgrandfather and he is burried in the Grant cemetry, beside his first wife Mary Ann Bradshaw, my ggrandfather, and my grandfather & grand mother is burried This cemetery is located just off highway 55 south near the Russell County line, turn up the gravel road toward the Zion Presbyterian Church and bear left. the name of the church may have changed.My grandmother was Lula Grant she married William W. Melson every one called him Will, my Dad was Jesse Melson he married my mother Enola McElroy hope this helps Euline Melson Penix
