Her generation would have been the children of William and Lavisa Coomer. They had 9 children total: (Benjamin "Berry Green", Edmund, Jesse, Mary Jane, William Charles (my gg-grandfather), John Hubbard, Lucinda, James Porter, and George A.). George A. later applied for minor's benefits while he was living in Mt. Carlem, IL but was turned down. These papers are located in the same file with Lavisa's widow's benefits. I have information on the marriage and descendantson only 3 of the children. Benjamin "Berry Green" married Emily Coffey in Adair and later lived in Pike Co, IN where Emily's mother, Jane Hindman died. John Hubbard married Malinda Gentry..I do not have the list of their children. I do not find N. Louisa, mainly because she would be a descendant of George Washington Coomer, who appears to be the brother of the William mentioned above. Thanks for your information. James Just a side note: Does anyone know how Benjamin Coomer later became Berry Green Coomer? I found a lot of information about him in Pike Co, IN but was at one time confused about his name. I always hade him as Benjamin Berry but then his family members included the "Green". Anyone know why?
