He was listed as 21 yr old Benjamin Coomer with William and Lavisa's family in the Adair 1850 census. By 1860 he is listed in the Adair census as Berry G. Coomer married to Emily with Emily's mother Jane Coffey in the same household. There is also a Beasley relative in the household which must be a relative through the his grandmother Sukea Beasley. I found some of the lineage of Berry Green Coomer in Pike Co, IN where he, his mother Lavisa, and his brother William Charles settled after leaving Adair.
