Are these families the same except with different spellings passed on over the years? I found an Atkisson in Amherst Co, VA 1810 census. My Banks and Busby line married into the Atkinson family. Just wondering if the VA Atkisson and the Adair Atkinson families were connected. Thanks for any help, Paula
