I am related to the Coomers also. I will dig out what I have and get it to you soon. My dad told me that his mothers people were from Stokes Co. N.C. My grandmother's name was Lou Bell Coomer Crawhorn. Her father was Washington Mack Coomer. I believe he was married to a woman named Polly Ann Ashbrook Coomer but I could be wrong about that. I remember my Granny Lou telling me that her "daddy was a Union man" during the Civil War. I do know that he and my great grandmother are buried at Antioch Cemetary in Sparksville, KY.
