Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know about a book fair being held in Glasgow, KY, for genealogists. Anyone close enough to come would enjoy it, I think. Here are the details... It will be held on October 27 @ 10-4 at the Cultural Center in Glasgow, KY. There will be "vendors" there from most/all of the South Central KY counties--Barren, Warren, Green, Adair [I will be there will all of the books we have for sale], Cumberland, Metcalfe, Russell (?), etc.--selling genealogy- and history-related books. Some are Gen. Societies, some are private publishers, but all are worth browsing and you will likely find something to buy! There will also be some displayers this year - a fellow with a fabulous Indian relic collection; one with a Civil War guerilla display (swords, photos, pistols); a wonderful potter, live folk song and bluegrass music.... Last year was great and they didn't have near the events planned. Anyone researching in this area who is close enough to come will benefit. I met several people last year whom I have been assisting on the internet. They had driven in from surrounding states...
