He was married to his first wife who died after giving birth to two sons Tom and Henry, jr. Henry jr. was born in ironton, missouri in 1859 and was buried in miami, oklahoma in 1942. My late father attended the funeral. Tom was buried at the cherokee county poor farm during the depression. I do not know much about Great-great uncle tom. My Great Grandfather Jonathan was born to Henry in1869 by his marriage to his second wife Elizabeth. Jonthan died in 1945. Lyford, and Sarah, were two of four or five syblings to my great grandfather williams. Henry Sr tombstone reads, FAREWELL HENRY GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN April 12th, 1822 August 5th, 1882. I have a copy of his last will. Garden is the township but their is no "Garden City" in Cherokee County. Galena is a town just three miles from Joplin, MO on the Kansas side of the border. Lyford Williams and his mother Elizabeth, Henry's second wife and widow are buried there. Henry Sr. was one of the first Post Masters in Baxter Springs, Kansas, according to what my dad told me before he died in 2000.
