Greetings, Phoebe! My 4Ggrandmother was Dicey MANN (1753-1785) Adair Co., dau. of Francis MANN Jr. and Obedience UNKNOWN. Dicey MANN married my 4Ggrandfather, John CALDWELL (1750 VA - 1829 Adair Co. KY). (Incidentally, their son, my 3Ggrandfather Beverly CALDWELL married Phoebe Ann HATCHER. I love the name Phoebe! I don't know where Francis MANN Jr and his wife, Obedience, lived - - they, or relatives could well have been in Russell Co. also. This is all the MANN info I have at this time - - still looking.
