Hi Carrie, I see several messages from you this afternoon. I'm a descendant of James Pike b 1822, son of William & Lydia Pike. He was b in Adair Co., KY but raised in Hancock Co., IL. He married Mary Troxel in 1845 in Keokuk Co, IL. They moved to Texas in 1852 and on to Oregon in 1854. I still haven't figured out who the cousin Joe Hardin was that he went to Texas to see.
