I don't know what happened? My PC didn't let me know that someone responded to my post. Sorry. I'm searching for Austin Bailey. He was born in 1854 Ky. I found him in 1880 Russell Co. Ky. He was married to Della and had two sons. I was hoping that one of the families in Adair Co., Ky.might be his parents and siblings. Do you have William and Nancy Bailey's children (that you found in 1860, Adair Co.)?

Also Blair, Epperson, Miller, Grinder, Hudson, Wolford Coffey I know that they inter married into Hudson, Grinder and Wolford, so was wondering if maybe you have some CALHOUN'S that married into the JUDD family? I am trying to sort out Calhoun kinships in Adair and Russell Co.

There is no single source for their names. Adair men can be found in the 13th Kentucky Cavalry US, 1st Kentucky Cavalry US, 8th Kentucky Cavalry US, 4th Kentucky Infantry CS, and I am sure there were others. The prewar State Guard unit called the Adair Guard contained men who went to both sides. Based out of Columbia, we found a list of the initial members in Frankfort and it is now transcribed here http://www.breathittcountylibrary.com/SDBowling/KyStateGuard/Rosters/AdairGuards.html Hope this helps.
