The information on this small cemetery is good. Also update on all of her children. Was Marvin Burton born in Adair Co,Ky. Herbert"Hub"Sinclair{your name} age 9 and a ward and his ? brother possiable John W.Sinclair age 16. Not at this time for i am yet to view those children of Phillip H."Ham" Sinclair and Margaret Ann Burton's marriages. You said a Christine Homes Willis goes thru these two. How does she tie into them. Is this her parents or her grandparents. Has she ever looked at there marriage record, or did they marry in Adair Co. If and when i go to Columbia, i will look at all related, and try and find anything out on them. I at this time do not have any 1910,1920 census records from that area. The Juretta Burton and Milford E.Burton {wonder what this middle stood for, have seen this name on other Burton's} She of course is a sister of John Logan & Lubantus,Lufantas and Preacher Buck Burton. These i have been working on for near onto 10 years, the Daisey C.Burton always puzzled me, for i would see reference for him, back thru to the 8 brothers of William Burton and Elizabeth keesee/Kizee and had at first a hard time putting him and his wife Cinthia Jane Burton, i have come to the conclusion, the early ones all were related, they might have lived in Casey Co, Pulaski Co, Russell Co, or Adair Co- - - but a lot of them related.

She married Richard Burton in 1912. She married John Goodin in 1918. John Goodin was born in Adair Co., Ky in 1857 and died in Mason Co., IL in 1937. John and Siller's chidren were all born in Ilinois. This is the breakdown of Siller's kids: Sylvester Burton-Siller Harmon 1.Clara Burton 1903-1977 m. Charles White Harmon 2.Ned Burton 1909-1961? (I have an old pic. of Ned in his casket, the date looks like 1961, need to verify) Richard Burton-Siller Harmon 1. Marvin Burton 1913- John Goodin-Siller Harmon 1.Irene Goodin 1919-died young 2.Beecher Goodin 1921- lives in Michigan 3.Lola Goodin 1924-2002 m. Leon Griffith Cemeteries of Adair County Volume 5 (1986) says this about the cemetery at Vester. "It is located at Vester pass the Curry's Grocery. It is on the left side of the road behind a trailer" This is how the book EXACTLY transcribes the stones: Ella Burton f. 9 July 8, Wife of S.C. Burton E. Burton - Sept._94--_95 two Fieldstones Since 1986 new stones have obviously been erected. It is visable from 206 when the corn is down. I believe the trailer is a maroon color. I believe there are four gaves total: Sylvester Burton, Louella Burton, and sons Luther and Clarence Burton. Since you got me started on the Sinclairs, do you know who Herbert "Hub" Sinclairs (1891-1958) parents were? Christine Holmes Willis has aske me several times to find out. In the 1900 Census of Adair County. He is listed as a ward of Milford and Jeretta Burton. Hub married Ada Burton( daugh. of Sam and Sarah Burton). Ada died in 1940 and her sister Dollie Burton Streeval raised her children. thanks Jason

    1. [KYADAIR] Salathiel COFFEY- "Sail" or "Sale"
    2. Phoebe: It is my understanding from my research over the past two years that there were several "Salathiel's" in the COFFEY lines, and that "Sail" or Sale" was often the call name or nickname (which I can understand when I attempt to say "Salathiel"- - bit of a tongue-twister). I don't have information on the "Sail" COFFEY who married Annie Lynch, or on any COFFEY's in Pulaski Co. at this time.
