Hey everyone, Have a query from another non-subscriber who needs help. He wrote: My father, Clifton W. Hatfield, just recently passed away. I am trying to find any information, references, etc. to him in Adair County. He pastored several EUB churches there in the 1940's and attended Lindsey Wilson College. I was born at Christine during that time. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lucian Hatfield louhat13@earthlink.net If anyone can help this gentleman out, please contact him directly at the above email. He is not a subscriber to the list. Hi everyone! I received this email from a gentleman who needs our help. If you can give him the information he needs, please email him directly at: lrslavey@earthlink.net He is not on this List! Here is his question: One question you may be able to answer for me. I have been to Adair co. several times looking for information in the past (I live in Pulaski co.) I had really come up against a brick wall when it comes to the grave sites of the Slavey family. One idea that I first had some 4 years or so ago before i stopped active research for a while, and never followed up on, is whether or not some of the Churches, may have some old records that might give me a clue on where the people I mentioned were buried at. As I said, I never followed through on making the necessary contacts with those Churches, but since restarting my research recently, I had been planning to follow up on that idea. So, let me ask you if you know if either Christi's Chapel, or the Church at Cane Valley, or any of the other Churches that may have had possible connections to the Slavey's (like any near Elk Horn, Gradyville, or Milltown), have any old records or if any one has ever checked with them in the past over such a possibility? If anyone can help Lanny, please let him know... Thanks!
