I have no information on these Ennis family members. Sorry. Tom
Gave wrong name on first e-mail. Looking for Jacob Hornback and Mary Jane (Franks) Ennis. Father was Jacob P. and daughter was Rosa May. Rosa was married to Russell Franks and died in 1912 or 1913 in Taft, MO, but lived in Clay Co. in 1912. Had a daughter Clarice born in Corning, AR in 1912.
Am interested in info you have on Ennis family in AR; expecially looking for Jacob P. and Rosa (Franks) Ennis. Know they were living in Clay Co. in 1912.
Thanks to all the people who responded that there are records for Adair Co in the 1800's. This has opened up a whole new avenue (or should I say root) for me to delve into. Again thanks Kathi [email protected] wrote: > In a message dated 8/3/01 7:03:41 AM Central Daylight Time, > [email protected] writes: > > << X-Message: #3 > Date: Thu, 02 Aug 2001 07:27:59 +0000 > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Subject: ADAIR MARRIAGES... > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > > I've been under the impression that there are no existing records for Adair > County for the 1800's. Adair Co. didn't become a county until 1802. Before that it was a part of Green Co. Green Co. was formed in 1793 from Lincoln and Nelson Counties. So that gives you several counties in which to look.
