I had searched for Nancy and her kids too in Adair Co. after 1850 to no avail. I had also written to the courthouse in Adair Co. to see if they had the probate info. on Henry's will, but never received any answer. I have had messages from a couple of other people who are descendants from Henry's children by Susannah Will, but they didn't really have any info. that I didn't already have as far as proving my theories about who Henry and Susannah's kids were. Have you heard from any other descendants through Henry and Nancy? Ruth

Since I posted the original message, I have found the marriage certificate of William Green and Milly Walker in Roane County, TN in 1830. They are listed on the 1850 Roane County, TN census together with Albert as one of their sons. I will keep an eye out for any information on any Martin Green though as that may explain the unmentioned brothers who are on the 1850 census. Any further information you may have on Martin will be appreciated. Yes, I have talked with Ray in Glasgow several times and enjoy his webpage.
Thanks so much for posting this. Mary Morgan Wheat was the wife of Cyrus Wheat and the mother of Theodore, who gave her death info, as well as 7 other children according to what I have. She was the sister of Uriah Porterfield Morgan, who married 1) Mary Lou Grant and 2) Laura Collins. Place of burial is given as "Crocus." Does anyone know where on the Crocus she was buried? What burial places are there on Crocus Creek besides the Hopewell Cemetery? Can someone give me directions to the Hopewell Cemetery? I am specifically wanting to know if Jonathan Morgan or his wife Jean/Jane Buchanan Morgan are buried there. I know the church washed away years ago. Phyllis

ELIZABETH was born in JUL of 1852, so she could not have been on the 1850 census for Adair Co., KY, but her older siblings were. HENRY died about April of 1852, leaving his land to NANCY, but if she could not have posted bond, the land probably went to HENRY's eldest son from his marriage to SUSANNAH. I haven't been able to find NANCY after 1852 until 1880, where she is listed living with her daughter, NAOMI and her husband PERRY H. MCKENZIE/MCKINZIE in Casey Township, Clark Co., IL. NANCY died there in 1885. Other researchers have stated that NANCY moved to MO, but have found no evidence of her being there in 1860 or 1870.
